Ejide Fashina

Ejide D. Fashina, NBCFAE member since 2008. Public Affairs Chairperson. Working as an Air Traffic Control Specialist at North Philadelphia Tower. When asked about her goals for 2010, she replied, “I plan to strengthen the NBCFAE Northeast Region’s ties with community based organizations within the African American community.

The major goals of Public Affairs this year is to expand the overall awareness of the NBCFAE Northeast Region within our community. It is our belief that NBCFAE-NE should not just be known only within the Federal sector, but an organization that is recognized throughout the community. We plan to strengthen the NBCFAE-NE Region’s ties with community based organizations that are already well known such as the NAACP, Urban League, etc.

Latasha Ingram

I began my career with the FAA in 1999. I also became a member of the NBCFAE that same year. My interest in aviation began as a young teen when I attended a Blue Angels air show. After completing high school, I joined the US Navy and had the opportunity to work with the Blue Angels first hand. I believe the NBCFAE is an essential organization and I am thrilled to be a part of it. I spent the first four years of my career in a facility where I was the only woman and the coalition provided me with a network to connect with other women in my profession. I am currently an air traffic controller and Philadelphia ATCT. I live in South Jersey with my husband and two young sons.
